Internet services across Kuwait are performing extremely slow after cables between Italy and Egypt were allegedly damaged. ISPs made no estimates for repair time. Click here to read more.
Update: I received an email from Quality Net saying that the repairs will take 5-6 days, that is by December 28th, the cables should have been fixed. It would take a couple of days to reroute from the current temporary links to the original cables.

According to wikipedia , repairs should be finished by the end of the year (or month), which means by next year we should have the internet fixed.
