    The speed here is very variable, can get up to 4mbits and down to 200kbits.
    at average i am getting between 800 and 1200kbits.
    I will send the direct download speed to 3baid when i get home, its about 88-110kB.

    Hi, how do you get that speed and through which websites? i was downloading the new explorer the other day at 11kb/s ….

    Hello J,

    Those speeds are from speednet which tells you to test your download from a local mirror, so essentially it only tests the speed from your machine to a server in the country.

    If you select a server in another country, the speed will drop dramatically.
